John JACKSON, born 14 Dec 1812 in St. Matthews, Orangeburg, South Carolina; died 6 May 1869 in Elmore Co., Alabama; buried in Ebenezer Cem., Elmore Co., Alabama, son of John JACKSON (Sr) and Mary [---]. He married in 1834 in Coosa Co., Alabama Christianah SPIGNER, born 9 Sep 1812 in Orangeburg District, South Carolina; died 25 Aug 1853 in Elmore Co., Alabama, daughter of George SPIGNER (Cpt) and Ann Barbara SAYLOR.

Notes for John JACKSON: John Jackson was a guide for migrants from SC to AL in the 1830's. On his gravestone at Ebenezer Church Cemetery it says that he is the son of John and Mary Jackson of St. Matthews Parish, SC.

Notes for Christianah SPIGNER: Died after the birth of her only son born 22 Aug 1853. Gravestone at Ebenezer Methodist Church near Deatsville, Alabama.
