Migration of Joshua TATUM and Eliza Ann SIMS

1. Joshua TATUM, born 30 Mar 1800 in Orangeburgh, South Carolina; died 6 Dec 1880 in Newton Co., Mississippi, son of Christopher TATUM (IV). He married on 4 May 1835 in Noxubee Co., Mississippi Eliza Ann SIMS, born 10 Jul 1815 in South Carolina; died 1 Feb 1896 in Mississippi, daughter of Micajah SIMS and Elizabeth Steed MCGEE (granddaughter of Thomas SIMS and Margaret Elizabeth [---]).

Notes for Joshua TATUM: Joshua with his brother Christopher went to Autauga - Montgomery Cos., AL about 1817. They then migrated onward to Mississippi about 1830 and settled in neighboring Cos. of Jasper and Newton, MS. Both mentioned in David Gavin diary. MaryAnnNichols msg 3Oct98

g. Benjamin F. TATUM, born abt 1859.
