1. Richard GILL, born abt 1770 in South Carolina; died 19 May 1845 in Walker Springs, Clarke County, Alabama He married Elizabeth MYRICK.

Children of Richard GILL and Elizabeth MYRICK were as follows:

a. James GILL (Sr), born 20 Mar 1792 in South Carolina; died 26 Oct 1872 in Clarke County, Alabama. He married on 21 Oct 1817 in Clarke County, Alabama Catherine TILL, born 1795 in Orangeburg District, South Carolina; died 15 Feb 1867 in Walker Springs, Clarke Co., Alabama, daughter of Nicholas TILL and Barbara BRUNNER.

b. Mary GILL, born abt 1800; died abt 1837 in Clarke County, Alabama. She married on 19 Aug 1817 in Clarke County, Alabama Jacob ANTALEY, born 1794 in South Carolina; died 8 Jul 1854 in Clarke County, Alabama, son of George ANTALEY.

c. Uriah GILL, born abt 1806 in South Carolina. He married abt 1834 Elizabeth TILL, born abt 1806 in South Carolina, daughter of Nicholas TILL and Barbara BRUNNER. One Uriah Gill (son of John Gill Jr) married Margaret Parnell (ac 1809 SC - 25 Mar 1881) Leake Co. MS.
