Migration of Thomas GLEATON (Sr) and Kisiah BOLIN
1. Thomas GLEATON (Sr), born abt 1774 in South Carolina; died 1856 in South Carolina, son of Joseph Isaac GLEATON and Mary ARGOE. He married Kisiah BOLIN, born 1789 in Orangeburg County, South Carolina; died 1834 in Neeses, Orangeburg Co., South Carolina, daughter of Edward BOLIN (Sr) and Anne Elizabeth SALLEY.
Notes for Thomas GLEATON (Sr): They lived 15 miles west of Orangeburg on the Ninety-six road. They are both buried in the family cemetery in the west side of Neeses, SC

a. Levi Columbus GLEATON, born 26 Jan 1803 in Orangeburg District, South Carolina; died 1866 in Alabama. He married abt 1825 Ann Mariah HUTTO, born 28 Dec 1805; died 1888 in Alabama.
b. Absalom GLEATON, born 20 Jul 1805 in Springfield, Orangeburg Co., South Carolina; died 25 Nov 1869 in Springfield, Orangeburg Co., South Carolina; buried in Fogle Cemetery, Orangeburg, South Carolina. He married (1) in Aug 1828 in Orangeburg County, South Carolina Nancy Rachel BONNETT, born 29 Dec 1808 in Springfield, Orangeburg Co., South Carolina; died 9 Jun 1864 in Springfield, Orangeburg Co., South Carolina; buried in Fogle Cemetery, Orangeburg, South Carolina; (2) Everline HOOKER.
c. Thomas GLEATON (Jr), born 27 May 1808 in Orangeburg District, South Carolina; died 4 Sep 1873. He married on 23 Dec 1830 Mary Orange BONNETT, born 27 Dec 1810.
d. Edward GLEATON, born 1818 in Orangeburg District, South Carolina; died BET 1852 AND 1855. He married MirahCHAVES, born 1810 in South Carolina.
e. Eliza GLEATON, born 7 Jan 1812 in Orangeburgh, South Carolina; died 11 May 1869. She married Jacob LAIRD) Gleaton. Had at least six children.
f. Amos GLEATON, born 6 Jan 1814 in Orangeburg County, South Carolina; died 20 Jan 1885. He married on 19 Apr 1838 in Neeses, Orangeburg Co., South Carolina Mahala BOLIN, born 2 Sep 1818 in Orangeburg County, South Carolina, daughter of Edward BOLIN (Jr) and Jane DICKERSON Bolin.
g. Kiziah GLEATON, born 1816 in Orangeburg District, South Carolina; died aft 1860. She married abt 1835 Frederick HUFFMAN, son of Emanuel HUFFMAN and Sarah [---]. Had eleven children.
h. Narcissa GLEATON, born 1818. Died young.
i. Rachel GLEATON, born 1820 in Orangeburg District, South Carolina; died 8 Nov 1897 in Mississippi. She married John WOOD.
j. Sallie Ann GLEATON, born 19 Jan 1823 in Orangeburg County, South Carolina; died 8 Nov 1897 in Orangeburg County, South Carolina. She married abt 1841 in Orangeburg County, South Carolina Edward ARGOE, born 26 Aug 1818; died 9 Sep 1894 in Orangeburg County, South Carolina, son of Robert ARGOE and Margaret BOLIN.
