Migration of Daniel COLEMAN and Mary TILL
1. Daniel COLEMAN, born abt 1798 in South Carolina; died 21 Nov 1868 in Lowndes County, Alabama. He married (1) abt 1820 in South Carolina Mary TILL, born abt 1804 in Orangeburg District, South Carolina; died abt 1840 in Lowndes County, Alabama, daughter of Nicholas TILL and Barbara BRUNNER; (2) Sarah Elizabeth LIVINGSTON.
Notes for Daniel COLEMAN: Daniel and Mary Till Coleman had 4 boys and 5 girls in all. Two of the girls died in their teens. However, only can prove through cenus records, marriage records, cemetery records, and living relatives. Also, Mary Till had a brother, John Till.
Children of Daniel COLEMAN and Mary TILL were as follows:
a. Elvin Littleton COLEMAN, born 29 Sep 1828 in South Carolina; died 24 May 1914. He married on 25 Oct 1849 Martha Agnes BOULER.
b. Allen G. COLEMAN, born 15 May 1830 in Lowndes County, Alabama; died 10 May 1900 in Allen, Alabama. He married (1) on 1 Mar 1855 in Clarke County, Alabama Nancy Elizabeth SOUTHALL, born 6 Sep 1834; died 10 Apr 1884 in Allen, Alabama, daughter of James SOUTHALL; (2) Isabelle Lavender CAMMACK. This line carried on by Mauriece Hinson.
c. Betty COLEMAN, born 1834 in Alabama.
d. Willard W. COLEMAN, born 16 Aug 1840 in Alabama; died 1 Oct 1924. He married on 15 Dec 1866 Margaret N. HOWELL>.
