Migration of William RHODES and Sarah MURRAY
1. William RHODES, born 10 Dec 1785; died 11 Dec 1866 in Pine Village, Warren County, Indiana, son of John RHODES and Mary LEWIS. He married on 22 May 1806 Sarah MURRAY, born 28 Jan 1787 in South Carolina; died 1 Oct 1866 in Pine Village, Warren Co., Indiana, daughter of William MURRAY and Martha MCQUILLAN.
Notes for Sarah MURRAY: Opposed slavery, moved to Wayne County, Indiana, about 1807.
Children of William RHODES and Sarah MURRAY were as follows:
a. Mary RHODES, born 27 Feb 1807 in South Carolina; died 22 Sep 1860 in Warren County, Indiana. She married on 21 Apr 1823 William RAILSBACK, born 10 Nov 1803; died 7 Oct 1878 in Warren County, Indiana, son of David RAILSBACK.
b. William RHODES, born 29 Dec 1809; died Mar 1900. He married on 13 Oct 1831 Martha COBB.
c. John W. RHODES, born 29 Feb 1812 in Wayne County, Indiana; died 12 Jan 1863 in Milford, Illinois. He married in Warren County, Indiana Elizabeth LITTLEs.
d. Thomas RHODES, born 13 May 1814. Died as infant.
e. Lewis RHODES, born 10 Dec 1816 in Wayne County, Indiana; died 24 Nov 1907 in Pine Village, Indiana. He married on 30 Dec 1841 in Warren County, Indiana Eliza Jane CLIFTON, born 25 Jul 1825 in Sussex County, Delware; died 16 Sep 1897.
f. Martha RHODES, born 22 Feb 1819 in Wayne County, Indiana; died 3 Jan 1851 in Rainsville, Indiana. She married on 24 Jan 1838 in Warren County, Indiana John Wesley GRAY, born 1809; died Jan 1898 in Rainsville, Indiana.
g. Isaac RHODES, born 14 Feb 1821 in Wayne County, Indiana; died 3 Jun 1872 in Arkansas. He married Mary Eleanor MCCORD.
h. Joel RHODES, born 9 Mar 1823 in Wayne County, Indiana; died 7 Jun 1891 in Warren County, Indiana. He married on 15 Aug 1861 Ellen REID.
i. Seymour RHODES, born 29 Apr 1825; died 5 Mar 1896 in Rainsville, Indiana. He married on 9 Sep 1852 Maltilda PIERCE.
j. Caleb RHODES, born 20 Sep 1827; died 15 Nov 1915 in Rainsville, Indiana. He married on 6 Aug 1858 Melinda PIERCE.

l. Jacob Morgan RHODES, born 17 Sep 1833; died 8 Feb 1919 in Warren County, Indiana. He married on 3 Jan 1858 Mary Jane RUSSELL, born 20 Sep 1834; died 12 Jul 1919 in Warren County, Indiana.
