He married on 21 Aug 1864 in Barnwell County, South Carolina, Sarah Frances HARLAN, born in 4 Nov 1844 in South Carolina and died in 13 Jun 1919 in Hunt County, Texas, buried in Bethel Cemetery, Hunt County, Texas.
