Annually renewing Membership is open to all who are interested in Orangeburgh genealogy, and who are interested in supporting the objectives of the Society. Individual Membership is offered to a single person.
Members receive the OGSGS Newsletter published four times per year. The newsletter covers such topics as: lineage charts, new First Families biographies, family bibles, cemeteries, personal diaries, queries, book reviews, courthouse records, surname lists, surveys, memorials, plats, deeds, etc.
OGSGS Annual Membership term is a calendar year beginning January 1 and expiring December 31. Members joining before July 1 will receive via email any previously issued newsletters for the year and the membership will run through the current year. Those joining July 1 or later will not receive any back issues, but will receive any remaining mailed issues for the year and the membership will run through December 31 of the following year.
