HUGHES, born abt 1838 in Mississippi.

a. Eryann E.M. HUGHES, born 1823 in South Carolina; died 31 May 1890 in Carthage, Leake County, Mississippi. She married abt 1848 in Leake County, Mississippi Robert FALKNER.
b. Violet Ann M. HUGHES, born 1825 in South Carolina; died aft 1880. She married abt 1848 in Leake County, Mississippi Edmond NOONAN.
c. Lawrence S. HUGHES, born 1827 in South Carolina; died aft 1880 in Mississippi. He married (1) on 2 Jul 1850 in Leake County, Mississippi Martha J. TYNER, born 1832 in Tennessee; died 1863 in Mississippi; (2) on 20 Jan 1866 in Leake County, Mississippi Clarinda Adaline GROVES, born 1846 in Mississippi; died aft 1880.
